Biography
David Cardwell is Head of Department and Professor of Superconducting Engineering at the University of Cambridge. He completed his PhD at the age of 26 years at Warwick University in the U.K. and was employed subsequently for 6 years by Plessey Reserach Limited. He was elected to a Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2012. He has published more than 350 papers in reputed journals and serve sas an editorial board member on a number of international journals, including Superconductor Science and Technology.
